World of Warcraft: settings & add-ons
Settings
Always using raid frames, with mana displayed:

Using 2 extra action bars:

Add-ons: interface
Bagnon
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/bagnon
This makes the bags take less space on the screen, and adds convenient options like sorting. Also works on the bank and guild bank.

IceHUD
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/ice-hud
This one makes it easier to see our own bars while looking at the middle of the screen. The default is to display the player and target frames at the top-left corner of the screen:

I prefer having vertical bars next to my character instead:

Plater Nameplates
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/plater-nameplates
After removing the player and target frames above, we need a way to display the ennemy info. Plater turns the nameplates into dense displays with all the useful information we need.

Quartz
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/quartz
One of my favorite add-ons, this one improves the cast bars. From the default of a thin golden bar with little information:

We get a bigger bar with time info:

And even bars for the different steps of channeling spells:

And finally, timers for the buffs or de-buffs we have applied to the target:

The timers are particularly useful when playing shadow priest for example, to keep track of DoTs.
Leatrix Maps
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/leatrix-maps-wrath
A simple update of the default map, to display unexplored areas and paths to other regions for example:

Leatrix Plus
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/leatrix-plus-wrath
One of the features I like of Leatrix Plus is the ability to move the tooltip from the bottom-right corner to the center of the screen:

TacoTip
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/tacotip-gearscore-talents
This is a simple add-on to display gear score, iLvl, for ourselves and for others:

MinimapButtonButton
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/minimapbuttonbutton
A small but useful add-on to tidy up the minimap:

Add-ons: gameplay
Leatrix Plus
These 3 settings save a ton of time:

The faster auto loot even applies to crafting. For example when disenchanting, it automatically loots whatever we get from the item.
GTFO
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/gtfo
Very useful noisy reminders to move out when we're on top of dangerous stuff.
DBM

https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/deadly-boss-mods-dbm-dungeons
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/deadly-boss-mods-dbm-event-sound-pack
Tons of information about bosses, timers, dungeons, etc. Absolutely necessary at higher levels.
Decursive
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/decursive
As a priest, one of the smaller yet most impactful add-ons. Having a bar where left-click dispels, and right-click cures disease, make life so much easier.

Details! Damage meter

Not a game changer, but I do use it to know who should get my Power Infusion.
